Executive summary
Remvx LLC operates a zero-tolerance policy regarding financial fraud, stolen payment instruments, and chargeback abuse. Due to the immutable nature of cloud infrastructure provisioning and software deployment, disputes must be handled through our official support channels. Using bank chargebacks to circumvent these channels constitutes a violation of our terms and will trigger immediate cryptographic service termination.
1. Policy overview
This Fraud Prevention and Chargeback Policy ("Policy") is incorporated by reference into the Remvx LLC Terms of Service. It establishes the binding financial and operational protocols governing all transactions processed through the Remvx platform. By purchasing, deploying, or activating any Remvx software license, agent, or cloud infrastructure resource, the customer ("You" or"Customer") agrees to be bound by the stringent provisions detailed herein.
The digital services provided by Remvx LLC - including but not limited to Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) agent generation, reverse-tunnel infrastructure routing, and endpoint security provisioning - are consumed instantaneously upon activation. Consequently, our financial security measures are designed to permanently protect our network from abuse.
2. Fraud monitoring protocols
Remvx LLC actively monitors all incoming transactions, software agent activations, and API usage telemetry to detect anomalies indicative of fraud, abuse, or unauthorized payment activity. Our monitoring systems utilize advanced heuristics, including:
- Geographic anomalies: Mismatches between the billing address, the IP address originating the transaction, and the IP ranges of deployed endpoints.
- Velocity checks: Rapid succession of high-value transactions or rapid generation of thousands of agent installers from a single tenant within a short timeframe.
- Instrument validation: Utilization of high-risk payment gateways, prepaid debit instruments associated with known fraud rings, or stolen credit card data.
- Identity verification: Failure to provide a verifiable business email address, corporate website, or valid corporate registration details upon request by our risk team.
If a transaction triggers our automated fraud detection systems, the associated Remvx tenant account will be temporarily quarantined pending manual review by our security engineering team.
3. Chargeback abuse & enforcement
A"chargeback" occurs when a customer disputes a charge directly with their credit card issuer or banking institution, forcing a reversal of funds. Remvx LLC views illegitimate chargebacks as a severe breach of contract and an attempt at theft of digital services.
3.1 Invalidity of chargebacks for provisioned services
Submission of a chargeback does not automatically entitle a customer to a refund when services have already been provisioned, delivered, activated, or consumed. Because the creation of an RMM tenant, the generation of a cryptographic agent installer, or the establishment of a remote session utilizes non-recoverable server resources, these actions represent final delivery of the digital good.
3.2 Escalation process
Customers experiencing technical difficulties, billing errors, or dissatisfaction must contact [email protected] prior to initiating any dispute with their financial institution. Failure to communicate in good faith through official channels before initiating a chargeback is categorized as Chargeback Abuse.
4. Evidence preservation
In the event of a disputed transaction, chargeback, or suspected fraud, Remvx LLC will rigorously defend its intellectual property and revenue. We maintain extensive, cryptographically verifiable logs.
Remvx LLC reserves the absolute right to preserve and provide relevant records, transaction data, account information, service logs, and supporting evidence to payment processors, financial institutions, legal authorities, or law enforcement agencies. This evidence package typically includes:
- Exact timestamps of tenant creation and login events.
- IP addresses and browser fingerprints used during the transaction.
- Cryptographic hashes and download logs of generated agent installers.
- Live telemetry proving that generated agents successfully connected back to our infrastructure, confirming consumption of the service.
- Acceptance logs of the Terms of Service and this Fraud Policy.
5. Service suspension & cryptographic severance
Accounts associated with suspicious activity, stolen payment instruments, unauthorized transactions, identity fraud, or chargeback abuse will face immediate, unappealable consequences.
Upon detection of Chargeback Abuse or confirmed Fraud:
- The customer's dashboard and API access will be permanently revoked.
- All active endpoints and deployed agents associated with the customer's unique tenant ID will be cryptographically severed from the Remvx relay network.
- The customer's email, IP subnets, and payment instruments will be blacklisted across our global infrastructure to prevent future abuse.
No refunds will be issued for accounts terminated under these conditions, and the customer remains legally liable for any outstanding balances, including chargeback penalty fees assessed by our payment processors.
6. Law enforcement cooperation
Remvx LLC actively combats cybercrime. If our risk team determines that a transaction involves identity theft, stolen financial data, or the use of our platform for malicious activities (such as deploying ransomware via our RMM agents using stolen cards), we will not hesitate to escalate the matter.
We will proactively forward the complete evidence package (including IP logs, deployment targets, and transaction data) to relevant federal and international authorities, including but not limited to the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3), the FBI Cyber Division, and the financial crimes units of the relevant jurisdictions.
