Overview
Remvx connects enrolled endpoints to a tenant-scoped control plane. Technicians access managed endpoints through authenticated sessions governed by policy and recorded for audit.
Conceptual diagram - not a live infrastructure map.
Remvx Agent
The Windows endpoint agent installs via MSI or scripted rollout, enrolls with mutual TLS, and maintains an encrypted connection to the Remvx relay. The agent reports inventory and health signals and accepts governed remote operations.
Enrollment
Tenant-scoped credential issued during onboarding. Device registration required before operational commands.
Validation
Agent version and signature verified on enrollment and update.
Connectivity
Persistent encrypted channel through the Remvx relay network.
Control Plane
The Remvx control plane provides tenant isolation, session routing, policy enforcement, and audit aggregation. It is the central coordination layer between technicians and enrolled endpoints.
Technician Access
Technicians authenticate to the Remvx Console with role-based permissions. Remote sessions require policy approval where configured and are attributed to technician identity, tenant, and target endpoint.
Audit Logging
Administrative actions, policy changes, enrollment events, and remote sessions generate audit records. Logs are scoped per tenant and exportable for client compliance review during evaluation.
Policy Engine
The Remvx Policy Engine defines who can connect, which tools are permitted, maintenance windows, and compliance baselines per tenant. Policy changes are logged and propagated to enrolled agents.
Status: Controlled rollout - scope confirmed during evaluation.
